jinn in quran (a plural noun for the word “jinn”, and its singular is “jinn”, or “fairy”). In the dictionary: the singular is called a jinn and the female is called a jinn, and it is from the verb jinn (with an opening of the jim and a stressing of the noun and an opening of it) and it means to conceal and cover, according to ancient Arab religions and myths.

jinn in quran, creatures that live in the same world but cannot usually be seen, and they are supernatural in nature that our senses perceive, they have minds and understanding, and it is said that they are called that.

Because it is hidden and not seen. The Islamic belief did not deny the Arabs their existence, but rather devoted a significant portion to talk about them in Islamic religious texts, often combining “humans” (i.e. people or human beings) with “jinn.”

Jinn in Islam

Muslims unanimously agree to acknowledge its existence, and it is stated in the Qur’an:

There is an entire surah in the Qur’an named after the jinn, which is Surat Al-Jinn. Muslims believe that the jinn have extraordinary physical powers, and that the jinn can see people. Some believe that the bodies of the jinn in quran are invisible and capable of being shaped as they want.

But the jinn have a physical presence for rational life and they are mentioned in the heavenly books. Some specialists recite from the Quran on people who have been touched or possessed by the jinn to bring them out, and this involves addressing and arguing with the jinn, according to some of them’s belief.

They are called jinn in quran in the Arabic language because they hide from the eyes. They see people but humans cannot see them. This fact is mentioned in the Qur’an:

What is meant is that a person does not see the jinn in their true image in which they were created, but we may see them in other forms, incarnate for them, or an illusion of the mind, such as a ghost and other things, as happens to some people.

The Qur’an states that the reality of the jinn is a creation other than humans and other than the world of angels and spirits, and between the jinn and humans there is a common destiny in terms of being characterized.

By the quality of mind and will and in terms of the ability to choose the path of evil and good, and in terms of being required to worship.

Jinn in the Qur’an

The Arabs who were addressed by this Qur’an for the first time believed that the jinn had authority on earth, and between drowning in delusion and drowning in denial, the religion of Islam established the reality of the jinn in quran, corrected public perceptions about them, and freed hearts from their fear and submission to their delusional authority:

Jinn in the Sunnah of the Prophet

1-It was reported in Sahih Muslim on the authority of Ibn Masoud that he said: “We were with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, one night when we lost him, so we looked for him in the valleys and paths, so we said: Will he be captured or assassinated?

So we spent the night with Bishr, a night in which a people spent the night, and when we arrived in the morning, he came from the direction of Hira’, so we said: « O Messenger of Allah, we lost you and searched for you but did not find you, so we spent the night in which a people spent the night.”

Then he, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “A caller to the jinn came to me, so I went with him and recited the Qur’an to them.” Ibn Masoud said: So he set off with us, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, and showed us their tracks and the effects of their fire.. .) Sahih Muslim with Sharh Al-Nawawi, 4/170.

2-It was narrated on the authority of Sahih Muslim and the Musnad of Imam Ahmad on the authority of the Prophet Muhammad, who said: “The angels were created from light, the jinn were created from fire, and Adam was created as described to you.” Sahih Muslim with Sharh al-Nawawi 18/123.

Conclusion
